In researching #ACareerCarol, we came to believe there are at least 4 major existential crises most of us will have to navigate during a ~40 year career. The first is this transition from student to profession. The HBR article talks to the deeper issues involved in this transition. Knowing how to apply for jobs and interview is only one part of it. There are significant emotional resilience challenges to overcome as well. It's clearly a stressful and anxiety inducing time for most of us.
